The old wicked granny is very spiritual. She has secrets deep down. Secrets she reveals when the right time comes. So, when the kids from funky town came down to the scary village, the granny warned them.
Granny explained how the evil spirit gets to the happy souls. It eats their spirits and all they are left with is nothing but zombie like body to carry around.
But, like it always happens. People believe not what is the truth. They wouldn't listen to stuff, which is good for them and nurture the bad stuff themselves.
Granny was right! But nobody listened to her thinking she was wicked and mad. And then they were all gone...while all we were left with were the granny tales which nobody believed.
The truth lay there but it was over looked.
