All the 4 accused men in Kainat Soomro gang-rape case have been acquitted by a session court. These 4 men were charged with abducting & then gang-raping this 13 year old girl in 2007.
The court said that the entire story was shrouded in mystery & it termed the medical report & the statement of the investigation officer as contradictory to the statement of the complainant & it was convinced that the accused were falsely implicated.
According to Kainat Soomro, something was sprinkled on her, & she became unconscious. She was abducted in a market place & then she was taken to some unknown place. It has been said that no one could have been abducted in a market place & that if she was unconscious all along, how could she say she was being gang-raped by these men?
One of the accused was her husband (Ahsan Thebo), his father (Roshan Thebo), Sha’aban Sheikh who runs a cosmetic shop & Kaleemullah who is Ahsan’s cousin. The defence counsel said that his clients were falsely implicated & this is the victory of truth.
But why would Kainat Soomro who was just 13 at that time would accuse these 4 of gang-rape, if nothing was done? And if they are all rapists, what does it say about our system?
This is indeed very saddening. If you’d look at the photos of these 4 people with an open mind, you would see 4 rapists who are free now to go around raping few more women, cause they know they can & nothing will be done against them.
I’m very sorry to say but the court finds it very convincing that all the 4 accused were being falsely implicated in this gang-rape case where as in the blasphemy cases when the accused are mostly falsely implicated due to personal enmity, nothing is ever convincing. The accused are usually being killed during the trial & if any judge has the guts to take the right decision, then they target the judge.
This is totally fucked up! And the year is 2010 but we still live in the Dark ages. And congratulations to all those morons who think alike & without really thinking support all the wrong people (read fuckers)! You know this must also be victory for all those who don’t think at all, cause if we have been really thinking, people would have protested against this verdict.
