Unthinkable

Finally I saw Unthinkable & it turned out to be a great movie. I just loved it. The cast too is pretty good. Michael Sheen makes one cool terrorist. The reason why I call him cool is that he was quite honest about being a terrorist, & at no point we see him pleading to be innocent. If one is fighting for such a cause, I believe he/she should also have the courage to admit it. Carrie-Anne Moss is Special Agent Brody from the FBI & she doesn’t approve of the methods used by Samuel Jackson to find out the location of 3 bombs planted by Michael Sheen.

In fact Samuel Jackson seems a total psycho who is obsessed with torturing almost anyone. The director has depicted how interrogators are far more crazier than the terrorist. You’d hate the character of H more than anyone else. We all know that the FBI doesn’t believe in such extreme measures & Agent Brody was all the time against the idea of illegal methods being used by H to get the results.

Agent Brody was mad at Yousef when another bomb was being exploded at a shopping mall & 54 people die in it. But no one had any answer when Yousef said that the same number of people die in Iraq & Afghanistan every day. Actually Yousef wanted America to draw out its troops from all the Muslim countries & that America shouldn’t do any funding to hurt Muslims in any way. But his message is never conveyed to the President of America.

H even kills Yousef’s wife Jahan when everyone refused that he cannot torture Jahan to extract the locations of the bombs planted in 3 different cities. Since H couldn’t do his mad interrogation, so he cuts the throat of Jahan. In the end, he also wanted to harm the kids of Yousef & then he reveals the locations of those 3 bombs.

Yousef was actually an American citizen who was a convert. And Brandon Route looks a really cute FBI agent.
