My mother watches this particular drama in which one of the characters has become an addict & now she’s ready to prostitute herself to get drugs. We live in a very ugly world where we refuse to understand lots of things, cause we are busy judging others. We forget what is right for one person may not be right for others.
Just like that, we have set views. For instance, drugs addicts are bad. Those who prostitute themselves are even worse. When a person is down & out, either he becomes escapist or very strong. And yeah some people just become bitter & cynical. I’m sure there are other kinds of people as well.
I was thinking that only the person who goes through certain things to take certain steps can provide you the right answer. I’m referring to druggies who opt to sell their bodies. We may have views, but they have the answer as they are the ones who do this to themselves. Here people have no problem in selling their loyalty, faith, soul & what not. But the ones who sell their bodies are severely judged by all. Even though judging any person is the job of God yet we have people judging others, as if it would make them angels!
And please don’t get me wrong...I’m not saying that taking drugs & becoming a slut is something cool. If you can’t afford drugs, it’s better to stay away from them. Taking drugs for pleasure is one thing, but taking drugs as way to deal with your problem is another thing & that could get you into deep shit.
Through my writings, I just want to say one thing – Don’t judge people you know nothing about. Life is very tough & complicated, & everyone is not lucky to make the right choice at the right time, cause maybe he/she doesn’t have those options. Plunging in some dark abyss is something that happens.
