Anushka Sharma denies having contract with YRF




Long time back media reported about a deal between Yash Raj Films and Anushka Sharma wherein she was signed by YRF for 3 films, however the beautiful heroine beg to differ. Here is an excerpt of the interview happened between Anushka and an IANS journalist.

Anushka Sharma, the actress who debuted with superstar Shahrukh Khan in YRF's "Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi" said that she never had any contract with the studio which could bound her in any way, she went on saying that she signed a deal with producer Bhushan Kumar (T-Series) and Akshay Kumar starrer "Patiala House" long before she signed “Band Baaja Baaraat” with YRF.

After working in "Rab Ne...”, Anushka was next seen in Parmeet Sethi's "Badmaash Company" with Shahid Kapoor which was also made under the banner of Yash Raj, and with Band Baaja she completes her hat trick with the production house.

Speaking about her latest film, she said – “I play Shruti Kakkar. She is a girl from a middle-class family in Delhi. She is very ambitious, focussed and hardworking. Her priorities are set in life. She is a very sorted girl, very straightforward and very enduring"
