Hickory Community Theatre director Charles Jeffers has recently announced the cast of the upcoming drama "Frost / Nixon."
The cast includes John Gannon, John C. Watts III, Bob Smith, Comby Blake, Meredith Potter, George Ralph Page Mangum, Joshua Provost and Kent Klee.

A dog program in North Carolina, Plott dog is, at 11 clock instead of on Thursday at Patrick Beaver Memorial Library, 375 Third St. NE, Hickory.
The program is free and open to the public. Children's author Libby Bagby Plott brings his dog, Lucky, and discuss the history and characteristics of the breed and how he became a symbol of the State of North Carolina.
