The ever-so hot and gorgeous actor, Chitrangada Singh, who won numerous awards & accolades for her terrific acting skills in the films like HAZAARON KHWAISHEIN AISI, KAL: YESTERDAY & TOMORROW and SORRY BHAI, calls Irrfan Khan her 'acting guru'. Chitrangada is paired opposite Irrfan Khan in upcoming film YEH SAALI ZINDAGI directed by Sudhir Mishra.
"Working with Irrfan was fantastic. For me he is like guru of acting. Really for me that was big high. He was superb. I really learnt so much from him. You just love watching him perform - how he does, what he does, etc," says the 34-year-old actress.
But wasn't there a fear of being overshadowed when you have a powerhouse of talent like Irfan Khan in front?
Says Chitrangada, "Absolutely and that was my biggest fear while working on this film. I would accept that I would just end up little like a bad actor in front of him because he is so good. On a serious note, he's very gracious."
Chitrangada, who debuted with Sudhir Mishra's HAZAARON KHWAISHEIN AISI, also shares a comfortable relation with the director. She completely trusts Sudhir's sensibilities as a filmmaker.
"I have known him for so many years. So definitely there's a comfort level. There's enormous amount of trust. He knows his characters and scripts well. It's great working with him because I can make suggestions to him as a friend and whether he likes them or not I am okay with it," says Chitrangada on a concluding note.
