Mehendi or Henna is a part of our culture here in Pakistan. On special occasions like Eid, weddings and much more, women love to apply henna on their hands and foot. Henna designs are very famous. This trend has gone to many countries abroad where henna may not be of great quality but designs are replicated. Some of the designs can be traditional arty but imagination has no boundaries, which is why now glitter and many unconventional designs are also used. I particularly hate glittery henna.
Madonna also applied henna on her hands in her song Frozen. Reema has a very bad permanent tattoo on her foot.
Henna/Mehendi is however temporary. It should not be considered a permanent tattoo in anyway. Permanent tattoos are different from these.
