Actor Rip Torn, has taken out a bank break while intoxicated and armed with a pistol loaded.
He was arrested in January after police found him in the store Bancorp in Litchfield, Connecticut.
The 79-year-old pleaded guilty to reckless endangerment, criminal offenses, criminal mischief and unlawful possession of a firearm.
The Men In Black actor were sentenced to two and a half suspended sentence and three years probation.
Conditions of the sentence included a prohibition on the possession of firearm and drugs and alcohol at random.
The prosecution had said was so clever that he was drunk he had left at home and believed that his hat and boots at the door.
