Day 27 - How do you deal with being around food?

It has always been difficult for me to be around food as my husband has a medical condition and he has to eat 5000 calories a day as to make sure he doesn’t lose weight and become ill and we have a 2 year old - so my house has a snack box full of chocolates and other treats and cupboards are full of other high calorie foods.

But I used to be stuck in this rut for so long and would always raid cupboards through boredom or stress that others were causing me. (night time was my worst time ever - as I’d be sat and be bored) Which is why I made this blog, I picked up loads of tips to stop eating at night or I draw and paint to keep myself busy, or have a pampering evening and have an early night.

I’m not going to lose weight by wanting to eat all of the time. I have to keep my mind of food and keep my mind busy and only eat when I am actually hungry - not because I am upset or bored and keep my goals in mind.
