What a memory!

Yesterday while changing channels, I saw Zia-ul-Haq. It’s nearly impossible to forget this face & we had the misfortune to see him when we were kids. This man had no respect for the constitution & he also said that it’s a piece of paper & he wouldn’t have any problem while tearing it up into pieces. Thanks to him, we have inhuman laws on our statute books that have played havoc with innumerable lives.

He’s also responsible for the entry of Afghanis in our country & now look what those criminals have done. They are areas where even police cannot go as Afghanis reside over there. There was no need to hang Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto & thereby make him a hero.

In this country when people die, they become heroes. One cannot miss the irony…while they are alive, they are not at all heroes but when are assassinated or hanged, they become one immediately & forever. The death of Benazir was indeed tragic, but she never did anything for the country like everyone else who was ever in power. Some of my friends say that she was a great woman, but her husband is the one who was behind all the corruption. I don’t even want to comment on politicians like Nawaz Sharif & Shahbaz Sharif…but somewhere in the background, we again have Zia-ul-Haq. He was not just a dictator, but a ghoulish creature all set to ruin the remains of the country.

Altaf Hussein is way too funny & dangerous, & his sycophants never miss the opportunity of thanking him on TV. And yes the chief justice of this country is also a very big politician. And lawyers here have all the time in the world to come on the road, but there is no time & place for all those under-trial prisoners who are wasting their time in jails. There is no courtroom for them & judges & lawyers are way too busy playing politics. I wonder who is not rotten & corrupt to the core in this country. I haven’t said anything regarding our lovely president, as we all get jokes on him on a daily basis.

However, Zia-ul-Haq is one person who did everything he could to damage this country. Whatever we are reaping today that was being sowed by him.
