I wanted to write on Lindinha for quite some time. Lindinha was my friend’s cat. She died a month ago at the age of 8. She was being killed by a dog.
I’ve known this particular friend of mine for almost 3 years & I met her at orkut. I also mentioned in my previous write-up about my Brazilian friends & their cat/dog profiles.
We used to talk about Lindinha often & lately it seems as if something is missing. It’s a strange feeling that you talk about a pet & that pet dies & that too in such a ferocious manner. Those of us who have pets know how scary it is when our pet steps outside the house. People don’t know how to drive & we can’t blame dogs for killing cats.
Anyway I hope wherever Lindinha is, she’s having a ball of a time with other sexy kitties. She definitely had a good life. No matter how much we love someone, we can’t do anything about his/her death.If our pet has to suffer in this world, then he suffers. We are just so helpless. What wouldn't we do to lessen the pain & yet we can't do anything, anything at all.
