In another newspaper I read that the infant was 6 months old & the couple saw the Pir sahab in their dream in which he guided them to slaughter the child. Right now the 4 year old Mariam is scared to go near her mother. Although Nadeem & Sana say that they were warding off the evil spirit but can these 2 be trusted? One of the officers said there was a bed in the room which was covered with green sheet, which is mostly used in shrines for offering.
The parents said that the ear & nose of Fazeelat had turned black due to the spell. Some flying objects were trying to take away their children. That is why they sacrificed their child. Very absurd!
I really don’t buy the crap they are telling the police. It seems they were trying to invoke evil spirit for some favor. And you need to sacrifice someone to invoke the spirit. They would have killed Mariam as well, but she had been rescued on time. We must bear in mind the verse in Surah Al-Anam:
“Indeed lost are they who have killed their children, foolishly, without knowledge, & have forbidden that which God has provided for them, inventing a lie against God. They have indeed gone astray & were not guided.”
You know you can get rid of evil spirits (if they genuinely exist) in the house by reciting Surah Bakrah. You need to read it in every room of the house. But you have to have faith & then you can ward off evil whereas the story of Nadeem & Sana seems to be a tale of something else.
In this case, the culprits have been nasty & mysterious right from the beginning. I think they are also lying about this Pir sahab they have seen in their dreams. What a coincidence that both husband & wife used to see the same dream & the same Pir sahab! There must have been some real Pir sahab who should also be booked along with these mad parents. Doctors could say that both of them are suffering from mental illness & they are having hallucinations, but I think it’s a premeditated murder & both the parents along with that Pir sahab who cannot be a piece of dream should be hanged.
The good thing is that a case (FIR 24/20/10) under Section 302 (premeditated murder) & 34 (common intention) of the Pakistan Penal Code has been registered against the couple at the Zaman Town police station on behalf of the state.
