Michaela was kidnapped on November 19, 1988, at approximately 10:15 a.m., in Hayward, California (San Francisco Bay Area).
The location was at the corner of Mission Boulevard and Lafayette. At that time it was called Rainbow Market. Today it is Mexico Super.
This was a witnessed abduction by a stranger, and in the years that have passed since Michaela was taken, her family has never stopped looking for her - never given up hope. Let's help keep their hope alive!
I came to know about Michaela's ordeal when my friend invited me at this group at FB:
We all just hope that the case gets solved now. This little girl was kidnapped in 1988 & it's 2010. I don't have words to express myself. We have no idea as to how does a parent live with this kind of tragedy. In all these years, Michaela's mother hasn't given up hope. She's still searching for her daughter & it has been 21 years. I just hope she meets her daughter pretty soon.
And please do take out the time & pray for Michaela.
