The recent World Malaria day 2010 was April 25. Half of the world’s population is at risk of malaria, particularly those living in poor countries. Malaria still kills more than one million people every year and most of these cases happen to young children because children's immune systems are not strong enough to fight this terrible disease.

Many children in poor countries are sleeping without any sort of proper mosquito netting and they should be supplied by mosquito nets and insecticide to prevent malaria, which kills over one million people every year.

World Malaria Day is a day and time to raise awareness and prepare society in the fight against Malaria.
