A Terrorist named Faisal Shahzad, a 30-year-old U.S. citizen of Pakistani descent has been arrested in connection with Saturday's attempted car bombing in Times Square New York. He was arrested 11:45pm at the JFK International Airport in New York while attempting to board a flight to Dubai.
Law enforcement officials said, Faisal Shahzad bought the SUV, a 1993 Nissan Pathfinder,that was found loaded with gasoline propane fireworks and fertilizer in the heart of Times Square from a Connecticut man about three weeks ago and paid cash.
Authorities said that the bomb could have produced a critical fireball and explosion with enough force to kill pedestrians and knock out windows.
