Slipknot Bassist Dead - Paul Gray, the Slipknot bassist, has passed away. He was found dead when a worker of the TownePlace Suites Hotel in Urbandale entered his room on May 24, 2010. Paul Gray was officially pronounced as dead at 11 A.M. Central time by the paramedics. The cause of death has not been determined but foul play was not suspected according to investigators.
Paul Gray is the bass player of the Grammy award winning band Slipknot -(known for wearing mask on stage). He has always been involved with music playing in different bands as a teenager, and aside from Slipknot, he also played bass for Unida during their 2003 tour and a few other bands. He is one of Slipknot’s founding members. He has worked for years together with other band members with great efforts to create great music for fans. They have been awarded as best metal performance for "Before I Forget" at the 48th Annual Grammy Awards in Los Angeles California.
