New Jersey state trooper was found dead of a gunshot wound inside his patrol vehicle on the Garden State Parkway Wednesday morning. According to State Police, an officer came upon the trooper’s vehicle on the southbound Garden State Parkway ramp to Route 34 in Wall Township after 7:30 wednesday morning.
Sources said investigators at the scene believed evidence combined and gathered points to all indications of a suicide but also many witnesses reported that they saw a car along the road with bullet holes in the window.
