"Miracle in Rwanda" will finally be shown in the Philippines at the Insular Life Theatre in Makati City from July 14 to 22, 2010 after premiering in Naples, Florida and a triumphant Soho run in NYC in 2007, the 1 hour play inspired a world tour that crossed 17 cities and 5 continents and created critical acclaim at each destination.
"Miracle in Rwanda" is based on the extraordinary and amazing true story of Rwandan genocide survivor Immaculée Ilibagiza, a real life messenger of hope and forgiveness. "Miracle in Rwanda" is revolutionary as it overcomes all the hindrance through the power of faith, and finding peace of mind during suffering and hardship.
Created by International Actress Leslie Lewis Sword and co-creator Edward Vilga, Miracle in Rwanda chronicles these dramatic events through the private and internal life of Immaculée.
Leslie Lewis Sword is the daughter of Filipino-American Loida Nicolas Lewis and Late African-American Billionaire Reginald Francis Lewis.
