In Febuary 2, 2008, Lindsay Buziak a real estate agent was murdered and found dead.The murder of late Lindsay Buziak came to the spotlight once again when NBC dedicated a one hour special slot for it in the Dateline. the purpose of bringing this case to spotlight once again is to find some lead.
She was 24 when she was stabbed to death at a Gordon Head home, where she had been lured by a man and a woman claiming to be potential buyers.
Buziak had an appointment with a Mexican couple for the sale of the house in Saanich.
Saanich police believe the couple to be contract killers, but have not been able to determine why she was targeted.
The body of Buziak was found by her boyfriend, Jason Zailo, 15 minutes after her death.
Buziak's father- Jeff Buziak came out and expressed frustration that the case remains unsolved and contracted private detectives to solve the mystery and announced a big reward of $100,000 for the informer.
