A deaf dog named Zippy has passed the toughest obedience test in Britain after mastering sign language. Zippy is just 2 year old & he’s a black & white terrier. He was deaf right from the beginning. It’s saddening, but in the past people used to put down pets if they happened to be deaf.
Zippy had to learn 7 difficult commands for the Good Citizen Dog Scheme (GCDS) Gold award, which even dogs without having any disability find difficult, so it has been quite an achievement. Zippy is indeed one smart dog. And if we work hard on pets having disabilities even they can move mountains & this is one such example.
His owner Vicky got him when he was just 7 weeks old & he didn’t respond to anything at all. But today Zippy is definitely the smartest dogs. Miracles can happen. All we need to do is work on pets.
