This painting was discovered few days ago in an old Parisian flat. It’s a portrait of an actress named Marthe de Florian. It was painted in 1898 by Italian artist Giovanni Boldini when the actress was just 24.
When I looked at this pic, I literally have the urge to pick up my brush once again. I simply don’t have words for this painting. It’s simply exquisite & that actress must have extremely beautiful.
