Needed to shed some more light

I was quite upset about the way Daam ended. It was a sheer waste of time. My mom & sister made me watched that play. Now I feel I could have played mafia or read something instead of watching Daam.

Anyway, I have a feeling that I didn’t do the dissection properly. I felt bad for the character of Junaid. I didn’t bitch how I could have. In my right mind, I couldn’t have missed the last scene in which Zara transforms into a bitchy character. She sounded more like those typical females…the ones who give lots & lots of attitude from the day they get married. Plus, I couldn’t understand as to why Maliha was giving her calls, when Zara was being so cold. Maliha was one rotten person & rotten people don’t change. They become more rotten, precisely.

Some people even regard Asma as a bitchy character & that’s why Zara never shared anything with her elder sister. They had weird relatives & Asma knew how to answer back, but I don’t think that makes her bitchy.

I guess a real life character like Zara will most probably be making this kind of status once they have kids: ‘Aaj meray bachay nay shit ki.’

I may have exaggerated a bit, but if you've met your friends on FB who are now married & have kids, you know what I mean. In fact the character of Zara in that last scene reminded me of my university pal who was all the time cursing her parents for being single & when she got engaged…Oh God, you should have seen her attitude! If this is what happens when you get married, I think I’m better off single.

I think its bullshit that you become a better person after you touch your dream. No, actually it was something like this…you become a better person once you find love. I don’t believe in it anymore.

Before I forget, we’re related to someone who said that she didn’t want Junaid & Zara to get together in Daam; in fact she wanted Zara to stay single, so that other females wouldn’t have hope in real life. This is the most hilarious thing I’ve ever heard. Some people even want to deprive others of hope. Speaking of which reminds me of that acquaintance who herself is going out & her eyes bedim every time you use the word marriage, but she strongly believes that staying single is not a problem at all, so females shouldn’t complain. We are seriously surrounded by psychotic folks.
