At last I have something nice to say, but I don’t feel all that elated though. Anyway, Pakistani actor Shaan looks pretty cool in his new ad (engro rupiya certificate), particularly where he’s wearing shades. They’ve wasted a lot of money on the ad, but yeah you can call that superb as it’s convincing.
I’m not doing any comparison, but Asin & Shahid couldn’t do justice to their shades in the shampoo ad. Ironically, they are talking about license to wear black :P The thing is everyone is not Arjun Rampal. And if you have seen that dreadful Sunday magazine of Daily times…you will know what it’s like to rape sunglasses.
I have been watching Daam & I think Mehreen Jabbar is really one good director. I do feel bad for Junaid’s character. I don’t know his real name, but he is one hell of a nice discovery.
Btw, I’ve been watching Style 360 as well (thanks to my kid sister otherwise I don’t have stomach for it) & Vaneeza Ahmed is all over it. She works off the screen for this channel. Maybe that’s why we also see her in promos & everywhere. I’ve noticed that she bad mouths about new models. Plus yesterday I heard Amir Adnan saying something. I never heard anything; he was excruciatingly boring. Then I saw Abro. Kya accent tha! Simply ab fab! I have never been able to understand this angrezi ka complex. However, I do give points to fashion photographer Munna. One listens to what he has to say.
Moreover, I really like what Mallika Sherawat said recently: ‘I dare & that makes me sexy.’ I also saw some pics of Mallika in which she was wearing shalwar kameez & she looked pretty decent. She’s one witty lady. I also read somewhere that Katrina Kaif is the most desirable woman. Which means perhaps that people like fakers more than genuine women. Although Katrina is very pretty, but I do find her dumb. And I so totally agree with Shobha De about Sonam Kapoor. Have you seen her ad in which says ‘a movie’? I saw it twice & I don’t ever want to see it again.
