Veteran actor Bill Erwin died of natural causes at the age of 96. He died at his home in Studio City.His appearance in Seinfeld episode titled "Old Man" playing the role as Sid Fields brought him the most acclaimed, along with an Emmy nomination.
Bill Erwin also played Arthur the Bellman in the 1980 film Somewhere In Time.
Bill Erwin had a long-running career in film, television and theater. He worked on Broadway, at the Laguna Playhouse, Pasadena Playhouse plus Theater 40 in Beverly Hills.
