Makati Bus Explosion : Newman Goldliner airconditioned bus with plate number TXJ 710 was hit by a strong explosion that destroyed the front and side of vehicles windshields yesterday -Tuesday, January 25 at around 2:48pm and killed at least five people and 17 injured. The vehicle exploded along EDSA Buendia. After the incident, roads were closed from Ayala to Buendia and motorists were advised to take McKinley or C5 or SLEX for alternate routes. Makati Mayor Jejomar Binay Jr. said that when he arrived at the scene, he saw blood and body parts inside the bus.
This is a horrible tragedy indeed. I'm always worried and scared considering my sister and a lot of close friends ride the same kind of daily transportation. Remember the Valentine’s Day -Febuary 14, 2005 bombing. 3 were killed and a lot of people were injured when a bus explosion occurred along EDSA in Makati City. Lets pray for all the the victims and pray for everyone to be safe.
