A French diet created by French doctor- Dr. Pierre Dukan will soon be in U.S. bookstores this coming April and this is called the Dukan Diet.The Dukan Diet works in four phases. The attack phase which consists of eating only protein for several days and reduces all carbohydrates and fats in the food.
The cruise phase which is vegetables and protein where you can eat vegetables and meat, fish or non-fat diary products.
The consolidation phase is such an important phase and this is where you start eating normally again, but does not increase weight and allows you to maintain weight even while taking your favorite food. Can be made with this bread stage, fruit, and pasta are added to the diet.
The Final phase is the stabilization phase which is basically the maintenance phase of the diet.
