Binibining Pilipinas 2011 Grand Coronation Night was held last night April 10, 2011 at the Araneta Coliseum and was aired live on ABS-CBN. The pageant was hosted by Derek Ramsay and KC Concepcion together with past winners Miriam Quiambao - 1999 Miss Universe 1st runner-up and Bb. Pilipinas-Universe and Precious Lara Quigaman - 2005 Miss International and Bb. Pilipinas-International.Shamcey Supsup was crowned as Binibining Pilipinas Universe 2011. Shamcey bested 39 other candidates in the pageant. She was considered a crowd-favorite during the course of the paegant. Shamcey also grabbed special awards such as Miss Talent, Miss Creamsilk and Ambassador of Philippine Airlines.
Shamcey, a 24 year old from Iligan City, Lanao del Norte. She graduated as Magna Cum Laude at UP College of Architecture and last year's architecture Licensure Exams board topnotcher.
Shamcey will represent the Philippines in the Miss Universe pageant to be held in Sao Paulo, Brazil on September 12, 2011.
