Nokia to Move Symbian Software to Accenture

World's Largest phone maker by volume - NOKIA will lay off 4,000 people and outsource another 3,000 to Accenture. Accenture is a global technology and outsourcing company. Nokia said they will outsource their Symbian software activities to Accenture, who will provide and develop software services to Nokia for future smartphones.

Nokia will cut its workforce by nearly 4,000 employees by the end of 2012 primarily in the company's home Finland, Denmark and the UK.
