STUDY - Olive oil lovers have lower stroke risk

Is it possible?  Do you think that Olive Oil may help you achieve better health?  An Italian study offers hope that a diet including olive oil may actually help reduce the risk of stroke.  Again, it is a study and not confirmed.  UNDERLINE the word MAY!

Older people who include olive oil in their diet may have a lower risk of stroke, a French study said, raising the possibility that the well-known connection between olive oil and heart disease may extend to strokes as well.

Objective: To determine whether high olive oil consumption, and high plasma oleic acid as an indirect biological marker of olive oil intake, are associated with lower incidence of stroke in older subjects
