Tony Curtis Excluded His Children From His Will

Tony Curtis, the late Hollywood superstar died of cardiac arrest at the age of 85 in his Nevada home in September. However, the late actor intentionally decided to not leave anything for his children in his will.

He left everything in the name of his fifth and last wife Jill Vandenberg Curtis. The document says that Jill will be the representative of his estate after his death.

One of his children tried to get something from his estate and money but it was a failed attempt. His daughter, Jamie Lee Curtis stayed away from this affair entirely and showed no interest in getting anything from her deceased father.

Tony Curtis had children with three of his wives (Janet Leigh, Christine Kauffmann and Leslie Allen). He married for the fifth time in 1998. Jamie Lee Curtis is his daughter with Leigh. After his death Jamie Lee Curtis said:

"He leaves behind children and their families who loved him and respected him and a wife and in laws who were devoted to him."

I guess Tony Curtis felt all his children were old and established enough to take care of themselves and that his fifth wife was the truly deserving person perhaps. Anyway, he appears to be quite selfish. I mean parents do care about their kids normally though I liked how Jamie Lee Curtis tried handling the entire situation.

Tony Curtis: 'Marilyn Monroe miscarried my baby'

Tony Curtis, the Hollywood legend who starred in Some Like It Hot with Marilyn Monroe, had an affair with the actress which resulted in her becoming pregnant.

Curtis, now 84, claims the pair had an on-off relationship which began in 1950 and was subsequently revisited in 1958 during filming of the movie, which co-starred Jack Lemmon.

But he says Monroe suffered a miscarriage after becoming pregnant with his child.

The comments come from his new memoir, The Making of Some Like It Hot, due for publication in the US in September.

In it he writes: "When I was in bed with Marilyn I was never sure – before, during or after – where her mind was. She was an actress. She could play a part. She could give the part what she thought a man wanted. I never asked for more."

Curtis claims the affair fizzled out but they were reunited on the set of the film in 1958, despite him being married to Janet Leigh and she to playwright Arthur Miller.

He claims that the actress subsequently broke the news that she was pregnant when the pair were confessing their affair to Miller.

"I was stunned," Curtis said. "I just stood there. The room was so silent that I could hear tyres screeching on Santa Monica Boulevard."

The actor, father of Jamie Lee Curtis, says Miller claimed he had consulted Monroe's doctor who said there was no chance the baby was Curtis's.

Miller allegedly told him when asked what he should do: "Finish the film and stay out of our lives."

Curtis wrote: "I stared at him for a minute. Then I looked at her. She was crying. 'Okay,' I said. 'That I can do.' I turned and walked out. I went to my dressing room, closed the door and locked it."

The pair ended their affair when filming finished, before he later learned of her miscarriage.

Earlier this year Curtis unleashed a four letter tirade on a lunchtime BBC radio phone-in when a presenter asked the Spartacus star to talk about his infamous kiss with the actress, who died in 1962 aged 36.

Curtis had liked a steamy scene with Monroe to "kissing Hitler", a comment he has subsequently retracted.
