Unsatisfied with the old Food Pyramid (top), the daily intake guide that food producers created, our health conscious First Lady Michelle Obama and the U.S. Department of Agriculture have launched a new system to keep us eating right. it is called the Food Plate (below).

And in case you missed it, the Feds have now done away with the useless Food Pyramid and replaced it with this “less confusing” yet equally-useless chart to tell you what to eat. The proverbial pie chart was designed by the USDA (bought and paid for by the Food Lobbies) and headed by food-profiteer-turned-food-cop First Lady Michelle Obama who, despite no experience, was paid well over $150K over several years for curiously sitting on the Board of Directors for TreeHouse Foods, Inc. TreeHouse is a company that sells cheese sauces, non-dairy creamer, instant soup, puddings, powder soft drinks, etc. and even provides for McDonald’s and Wal-Mart, its biggest customer.
Conflicts of interest are apparently only for fat commoners.
