This sweet dog is called Hopeful. Although she was named Hope, but at the shelter, there are 3 more Hopes, so they have decided to call her Hopeful. She is the older sister of Faith & both of them have been rescued from a 72 year old Lady in
Hopeful has scars & injuries all over her body & it seems that she has been used as a bait dog or she has been severely tortured. They also say that she has been whipped with a leather strap. Some of her teeth are also missing & the ones she is left with are all cracked.
She is a very sad dog. When she sees people, she gets all the more scared. She crawls & keeps looking at the wall. She has never been loved at all.
However, she is under treatment. I just hope she finds someone who makes her forget about all the misfortune she has been through. Although abused animals invariably stay scared, but we should always hope for the best...at least a loving person would make a little bit of difference.
