This is certainly not a horror movie. In fact there is not even one scary scene in the movie. I won’t recommend it to anyone, but it’s not as such a waste of time.
It’s a story about a reverend (Marcus) who doesn’t actually believe in demons. Although he does perform exorcism on those who are possessed, but he seriously believes that they have some mental problem & he just heals that. The entire movie is a documentary to prove that exorcism is a fraud. Anyhow he got this letter from a man saying that his daughter is possessed. The reverend along with the producer/director (Iris) & cameraman (Daniel) go there.
He performs the phony ritual & proves that he has taken out the demon, but strangely that very night that girl (Nell) comes to their motel. They take her to the hospital but the girl doesn’t seem to have any psychological problem. Later on, she cuts the face of her brother (Caleb) & while the father takes his son to the hospital, the reverend, & those other 2 people stay in the house & it seemed as if the father went to look for a property to build hospital on it…he takes so long to come back. Meanwhile strange things are happening. The girl also kills a cute white cat.
Marcus tries to convince the father that Nell is mentally ill & she needs medical treatment, but later on he agrees to perform another ritual. It seems that the girl is fine now, so these 3 people leave the place & on the way, they meet a guy whom Nell claimed to had sex with & that’s how she got pregnant, but the guy happens to be gay. Then Marcus decides that they must find out the truth as all the 3 couldn’t understand why she lied to them.
Okay. When they reach there…they see hooded occultists. Nell gives birth to something other than a baby & that was thrown in the fire. Eventually they are all being killed. Although Marcus tries to combat evil in the end, but it was so useless.
Now that you almost know the story, it’s better that you don’t watch it.
