Apple CEO Steve Jobs unveiled the new iPad 2- Wednesday in San Francisco. Jobs was on sick leave since January so his appearance on stage gained liveliness from the audience. Steve Jobs told the audience that they have been developing the product for a long time so he didn't want to miss the chance, "Jobs said in a standing ovation crowd. Apple's iPad 2 is 33 percent thinner than its predecessor, it will have dual-core processor, has a more rounded aluminum edge and a flat back, lighter, faster, graphics processing is up to nine times faster. It has two cameras and with black and white casings. It's more powerful than the original iPad.
The iPad 2 will be available on March 11 and will be available online and in stores in the United States. It will also be available in 26 other countries including UK and Australia on March 25. International pricing will be announced soon. Apple hasn't released any information about it's availability in the Philippines.
I believe that the new iPad 2 is the next step in iPad evolution.
