Apple iPad 2

Apple CEO Steve Jobs unveiled the new iPad 2- Wednesday in San Francisco. Jobs was on sick leave since January so his appearance on stage gained liveliness from the audience. Steve Jobs told the audience that they have been developing the product for a long time so he didn't want to miss the chance, "Jobs said in a standing ovation crowd.

Apple's iPad 2 is 33 percent thinner than its predecessor, it will have dual-core processor, has a more rounded aluminum edge and a flat back, lighter, faster, graphics processing is up to nine times faster. It has two cameras and with black and white casings. It's more powerful than the original iPad.


The iPad 2 will be available on March 11 and will be available online and in stores in the United States. It will also be available in 26 other countries including UK and Australia on March 25. International pricing will be announced soon. Apple hasn't released any information about it's availability in the Philippines.

I believe that the new iPad 2 is the next step in iPad evolution.

President Obama Dinner with Top Tech Leaders

U.S. President Barack Obama attended a meeting over dinner with Top US Technology Leaders including Apple CEO-Steve Jobs, Facebook’s Mark Zukerberg, Google’s Eric Schmidt, Twitter's Dick Costolo, Yahoo President and CEO Carol Bartz.

It was held Thursday night in Silicon Valley, California. According to the White House, the meeting is to discuss on how to boost the US economy through technological innovation, new research and development, education and energy.



Apple CEO Steve Jobs will take a leave due to his health condition. In January, he informed all Apple employees that he will be taking leave of absence to focus on his health. In 2004 Jobs had a surgery to treat pancreatic cancer. then another sick leave of 6 months in 2009, he then received a liver transplant.

iPhone 4 Recall

iPhone 4 Recall -Apple CEO, Steve Jobs announced on twitter that the iPhone 4 may be recalled. Steve Jobs said "We may have to recall the new iPhone. This, I did not expect".

Many iPhone users are complaining that this new iPhone 4 has technical problems like screen blemish or discoloration, and signal problems. The iphone 4 signal strength drops when a user holds the phone very tight by the metal antenna band.

Apple’s solution to the problem is give everyone $30 for a bumper sleeve to make these brand new and nearly expensive phones work properly. Use the Bumper or a casing for your new iPhone 4.

Walmart Apple iPhone


Walmart announced that tuesday, May 25, the very popular Apple iPhone 3GS with 16GB will cost $97 with a two-year contract with AT&T. The 16GB iPhone 3GS is at $197 with a 2 year service contract with AT&T, so $97 is a considerable savings.

Walmart cut the price by a $100. The price reduction comes ahead of Apple's World Wide Developers Conference, which begins in less than 2 weeks, where Apple is expected to launch its, much leaked, next generation handset and Steve Jobs is expected to announce its arrival at the WWDC2010 on June 7th.

So if you’re looking for a cheap, functional smartphone on AT&T, you can’t really go wrong with this great deal.
