President Obama Dinner with Top Tech Leaders

U.S. President Barack Obama attended a meeting over dinner with Top US Technology Leaders including Apple CEO-Steve Jobs, Facebook’s Mark Zukerberg, Google’s Eric Schmidt, Twitter's Dick Costolo, Yahoo President and CEO Carol Bartz.

It was held Thursday night in Silicon Valley, California. According to the White House, the meeting is to discuss on how to boost the US economy through technological innovation, new research and development, education and energy.



Apple CEO Steve Jobs will take a leave due to his health condition. In January, he informed all Apple employees that he will be taking leave of absence to focus on his health. In 2004 Jobs had a surgery to treat pancreatic cancer. then another sick leave of 6 months in 2009, he then received a liver transplant.

Aretha Franklin who has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and Aretha underwent surgery which she described as "very successful." she said, God is still in control.

Aretha Franklin died is not true and she is very much alive and recovering.

Aretha Franklin Diagnosed With Pancreatic Cancer

68 year-old "Queen of Soul" Aretha Franklin has reportedly been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Pancreatic cancer is the 4th leading cause of cancer death. Aretha Franklin has been experiencing problems with her health condition recently and she announced last week that she is canceling all her concerts and tour dates until May 2011 on the advice of her doctor but has decided not to divulge any details as to her condition.

Aretha Franklin underwent surgery at a Detroit hospital, and this time, her family has confirmed that she has cancer.

"The surgery was highly successful," Aretha said in a statement. "God is still in control. I had superb doctors and nurses whom were blessed by all the prayers of the city and the country. God bless you all for your prayers!"


Many fans wish her well and hoping that she will make a full recovery.


Aretha Franklin’s cousin, Brenda Corbett, told the Detroit Free Press the iconic songstress is doing well. "Aretha is doing better than doctors expected," Corbett said. "She has a long life in front of her and will be back in concert, on stage, late spring or early summer."
