Hello, my name is Erica, and for a few years now I’ve been especially interested in reading food blogs. Names like The Daily Garnish and Carrots ‘n Cake have cluttered my internet history and inspired me to make better choices. And while those wonderful ladies have definitely helped my decision to start blogging, this is not going to be anything like their blogs.
I can’t promise you amazing recipes because, frankly, I don’t cook. Well, I mean, I can cook, I just haven’t had the time lately. But I don’t believe you have to spend hours in the kitchen every day to keep yourself healthy.
I can’t promise exciting new ways to utilize your gym or how to become flexible as a noodle in yoga. I am not an authority on fitness. But that doesn’t mean I don’t love to learn about it or love the feeling after a nice workout or run.
So what is this blog then? It’s my accountability. It’s me pushing myself to do what I know I ought to do to stay healthy and active. It’s about a broke and stressed-for-time college student finding a way to look and feel her best.
It’s because I care too much about myself, my health, and my body to let myself get caught in diet traps and exercise slumps. I know better and I know I can find the best version of myself.
Join me, I dare you.
