I’m going to start a helpful tidbits page! Hopefully some of the information will be helpful to some people. :]
What I have so far:
- If you’re having trouble getting to your water intake goal, drink 1 cup of water before each meal, it will help you reach your water goal for the day and will also help you feel fuller with each meal.
- Try cutting down extra sugar to once a week if possible, the more sugar you consume, the harder the sugar habit is to break. And we all know sugar hinders weight loss!
- If you hate exercise, start out slow and small, do a few things a day and work your way up. If you try too hard in the beginning, you’re less likely to stick to it. Build exercise and eating habits, don’t just expect to be able to go full force right away. Slow and steady wins the race.
- If you don’t like many veggies or fruits, that’s okay, just eat more of the kinds you like. You can always try them again later after you’ve started eating healthier. You might be surprised to find that you like more kinds of veggies and fruits than you did before.
- Try eating 5-6 small meals a day, this will help you stay fuller longer. Try eating them about 2-4 hours apart, this will also help you stay fuller longer and will help out your metabolism.
