Deepika Padukone to sizzle on Dum Maaro Dum track

Deepika Padukone, who has been hugely responsible for many men suffering from insomnia & other ailments is now all set to work her charm once again, this time with her gyrating moves in Rohan Sippy's Dum Maaro Dum.

Deepika, despite, not being the leading lady of the film, will be seen doing the item number for the film, on the remix version of the infamous song 'Dum Maaro Dum'.

Rohan, who is apparently very excited to have Deepika on board, said that the song will have a contemporary feel to it, and that they will be shooting it next week.

Dum Maaro Dum, which stars Abhishek Bachchan, Bipasha Basu and Rana Daggubatti is scheduled for release in April 2011.

Break Ke Baad

Break Ke Baad is a light, neat, decent movie. The character of Imran Khan is too good to be true whereas Deepika is an extremely selfish person. Earlier on I read that this character of Aaliya wanted space, but when you watch the movie, you would realize that she’s a very selfish person. It’s not about space or suffocation. She doesn’t value any relation whatsoever. Anything that comes in the way of her dreams…that is a problem & that could be her bf or her mom or just anyone.

Aaliya has no place for feelings or emotions. She thinks she’s special, so people love her & she just couldn’t see what really made her special…it was the love of people & she took everyone for granted. Abhay is the kind of guy who goes out of his way for his gf. When she wants to take a break, he doesn’t have any problem with it. When she doesn’t want to talk to him on the phone, he’s okay with that also. He’s a gem but Aaliya is not even aware of it. On top of it, he could even cook. He’s literally the kind of guy one would worship.

And suddenly one day when Abhay is about to get married to someone else, it occurs to Aaliya that she loves him. In Madhur’s movie Fashion, the character of Priyanka becomes a very haughty bitch, but a time comes when she goes through a really bad phase & she comes out okay. She helps out the former model Kangana & it made sense. Now in this movie Break K Baad, such a selfish person who doesn’t go through any shit becomes so selfless suddenly & realizes the importance of love. This is weird.

I don’t think guys like Abhay exist in real world, but if they do, then they shouldn’t be treated like trash. We even heard that this character is a lot like Imran Khan & if it’s true, then he’s indeed a very sweet guy & a thorough gentleman.

Anyhow, the movie is nothing out of the world.

Saif, Kareena & Deepika

I just couldn’t fit in this thing anywhere in my previous write-up. Love Aaj Kal & the ghost of Kareena that is haunting Deepika is of course old news. We all know that Saif & Kareena work in countless ads. They could have worked together in the home production of Saif as well but nevertheless we get to see Deepika making one statement here & quite another somewhere else. However there is one thing she said that I agree with...which is Shahid's performance in Jab we met went unnoticed. To which Imitiaz said, 'I don't think it went unnoticed.' Whatever the case is, it’s solely Deepika’s headache.
