Hrithik Roshan: 2010 has been my year

The actor differs in his estimation of 2010 as far as his career is concerned. According to Hrithik Roshan, the year 2010 has been one of the best years of his career. Says the actor, "I believe it's been more my year than any of the previous years. I've gone beyond anything that I've done in the past. KITES has been my most subtle work. After GUZAARISH I am on a high. I didn't feel this way after JODHAA AKBAR or KOI MIL GAYA or KRRISH. God would punish me and I'd feel ashamed if I didn't feel 100 per cent happiness".

Disaster Films of 2010

In 2010, audience chose good scripts rather than big directors, banners and actors and actresses. These are top disasters in 2010 that were big flops at the box office.

RAAN: Though a great movie, audience flatly refused to accept this movie that showed the truth about media.

Even Sallu Bhai gives flops time and again. Veer was one of these. In the same year, he managed to give the biggest blockbuster Dabang as well so the year turned out to be good for him otherwise.
Abhi-Ash jodi didn't do much for Raavan. It flopped completely.

Kites was supposed to launch Hrithik career at an international level. But it failed miserably. His alleged affair with co-star Barbara Mori didn't do much to make the film a hit.

Guzaarish was a shocker flop because the film got positive reviews all over but the movie is a big flop.
Action Replayy was released during Diwali, which is a good time for business. However, the star power didn't help much. The movie bombed completely.

Salman Khan & Hrithik Roshan: Friendship Bigger Than Differences

All's well between Salman Khan and Hrithik Roshan, and all it took was a hug to make things right again. It was just a few weeks ago that Salman took a dig at Hrithik and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's Sanjay Leela Bhansali directed 'Guzaarish'. It happened on 'Bigg Boss', when Salman said that even dogs wouldn't go and watch the movie.

Sallu said later that he meant the subject wasn't the kind that would set the box-office on fire but the damage had been done. Sanjay Leela Bhansali said that if his 'old friend' could be so insensitive, he might as well leave B'wood. Hrithik was upset too, and said that it wasn't nice to make fun of someone because their film didn't do well at the box office. He added that heroes never gloat.

Hrithik was recently at the Masala! Awards and when he was asked about Salman's comments he said, "I know Salman only has love for me. And yes, a lot of people did tell me that I responded to his comments with a lot of dignity. Having said that using the media to convey your hurt or deep feelings is not done, I believe. But it had to be done. If the comment was against me or something personal, I would have laughed it off. Here I was just defending my baby, my film that I feel strongly about."

Hrithik added that Salman had called him, and that they had scheduled a workout together, indicating that they were about to clear the air.

And the two sorted things out alright. Hrithik was invited to Salman's brother Sohail's birthday party at Aurus in Mumbai, and that's where the two hugged, had a long conversation and made up properly.

Hrithik: I love bouncing off from one film to another

Do you know Hrithik is an extremist? Yes, he is and he has no qualms accepting this fact. His extremism is related to his films which keep on moving from one extreme to another.

Take a look at his films. Romance, action, supernatural and melancholy, you name it and he has a film under the genre. After his latest release, which won him accolades for his acting abilities, Hrithik is now busy with his next with Zoya Akhtar which is far different from his last film.

This is not it. Hrithik is also set to move to another extreme with the sequel of KRRISH, which according to him will be far bigger and bolder than its earlier versions.

Talking about this extremism Hrithik says, "I love bouncing off from one film to another. I am an extremist. If I want to do something, I do it completely. I would like to get to the other side of the spectrum. ZINDAGI NA MILEGI DOBARA is the complete opposite of GUZAARISH and AGNEEPATH is a complete opposite world to ZINDAGI... And KRRISH sequel is a completely different from AGNEEPATH."

Hrithik Roshan has a New Fan

It is said that ever since Jaya Bachan played Hrithik Roshan's mother in Fida, she has loved his acting and has treated him like her son. But, recently, Shabana Azmi has joined the line of Hritik fan followers. She went totally gaga about his performance in Guzaarish and says she hasn't seen such a performance in many years. She went on to say ""If I had a son I'd like him to be Hrithik. His eyes speak volumes. His body language and his whole demeanor is breathtaking. Main to fidaa ho gayi. Actor ho to aisa.""

Hrithik is of course overwhelmed by her comments and thinks it was the best compliment he has received by anyone for his performance in Guzaarish. Not only that, after the screening even Abhishek praised Hrithik immensely for Guzaarish ending all those negative vibes that he was spreading. Whille Big B when asked about his bahu's performance said she was dignified and restraint.

Well, Guzaarish is not my type of movie and am in no mood to watch such a movie at the moment. I always say Hrithik is the most beautiful actor that India has produced in the last two decades. I happened to find some nice pictures of Shabana Azmi because she doesn't look so nice now...mostly very cunning. And you can enjoy the epitome of fakeness in this Aishwarya and Shabana ji's picture. It is a classy capturing similar to one I saw years ago when Javed Akhtar was clinging to Dileep Kumar in a similar manner.

Constipated and Tired

Look at them, it looks like they have been working too hard in promoting their movie Guzarish  (a copy as has been revealed now). This photo was taken in Dubai. They look like shit here. Constipated Ash and Tired Hritik Roshan.

Ranbir's Refusal Turns Out To Be Somebody Else's Gain

Now here's something interesting I found out. I never knew that the role the new guy from the movie Action Replayy - Aditya Roy is playing was first offered to Ranbir Kapoor. Ranbir Kapoor, however has reservatios about sharing screen space with Aishwarya Rai and Akshay Kumar and so he refused this role.

Aditya Roy, on the other hand, has received a positive welcome from the audience so far in Action Replayy. He used to be a VJ earlier on. He is also playing a part in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Guzarish. Apparently in Guzaarish, Aishwarya is his confidante and sympathetic shoulder, while in Action Replayy Aish is playing his mother's role.

I feel the boy has a good start now. If he turns out to be a good actor, he might do well in the future. He is extremely thankful to Aish as he says he has been helping him tremendously on the sets with his acting although he is just a new entrant and it really means a lot to him. Aditya's elder brothers have been in TV and film making as well but he says acting is not a burning ambition for him. He, however, made his official acting debut in the movie London Dreams when he played a Pakistani band member in Ajay Devgan's rock band.

Aditya also feels lucky that in his short film time, actors like Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgan were all helpful towards him. Which reminds me of how Rani ji is acting all superior to Vidya Balan in their upcoming movie in which they are playing sisters. It is strange to imagine how they act on the set and as soon as the scene ends they never talk to one another. People say it is Rani Mukherjee's unapproachable attitude that makes it difficult for Vidya Balan and so there is no conversation taking place. I think that movie will be completed soon with that sort of attitude :P
