Jamie Lee Curtis
Tony Curtis, the late Hollywood superstar died of cardiac arrest at the age of 85 in his Nevada home in September. However, the late actor intentionally decided to not leave anything for his children in his will.
He left everything in the name of his fifth and last wife Jill Vandenberg Curtis. The document says that Jill will be the representative of his estate after his death.
One of his children tried to get something from his estate and money but it was a failed attempt. His daughter, Jamie Lee Curtis stayed away from this affair entirely and showed no interest in getting anything from her deceased father.
Tony Curtis had children with three of his wives (Janet Leigh, Christine Kauffmann and Leslie Allen). He married for the fifth time in 1998. Jamie Lee Curtis is his daughter with Leigh. After his death Jamie Lee Curtis said:
"He leaves behind children and their families who loved him and respected him and a wife and in laws who were devoted to him."
I guess Tony Curtis felt all his children were old and established enough to take care of themselves and that his fifth wife was the truly deserving person perhaps. Anyway, he appears to be quite selfish. I mean parents do care about their kids normally though I liked how Jamie Lee Curtis tried handling the entire situation.
