Pal
I always loved this song...very soothing, soft and with a sad video but hope and light at the end of it.

What It's Like
Honestly speaking I wasn't at all excited about the new year. Partly, because a lot of shit was happening in the city. It is not very nice to see, read and hear how so many people are killed, businesses lost, helpless people couldn't save anything, fires couldn't be controlled and so on.
We feel only when something happens to us. Only when it affects us directly. And so we talk socially as a formality. But then we can't stop and we do our things. That's how most of us have become. Though, I don't believe in mourning forever. I have seen some people do that. And it is useless. I mean what more can one say...when we actually started 1st Jan with a STRIKE. People didn't leave home. What a start!
For me, I think it was a dull start. We just did a very small in house, last minute party where only Nadira and I enjoyed. The past decade was a roller coaster ride for us. We have seen many new years together. I have seen how we have changed. But that's what time does to most people. What I find more complex is to figure out how much did Time change. The clock moved but it still seems stuck somewhere somehow. We have moved physically ahead but I don't know how progressive is the progress it self. I don't really have the answers :) So, we have placed the new calendar.
The best thing that I did in 2009 that I have taken many decisions and which I am quite happy about. And so I just want to ensure in 2010 I get at least 2 out of 3 of my important tasks done. I'd be content.
I wanted to put a few light songs here...don't take it literally. That's not how I celebrate stuff when I actually do lol.
The first one is a ghazal that most of my friends and myself really like and find very true to life.
The second is one of my all time favorite songs.
Chill out all...Happy 2010!
