Philippine Airlines (PAL) Flights Cancelled

Philippine Airlines: Philippine Airline Pilots abandoned and left their job without notice and canceled flights because of their said rights dispute. Pilots already passed a resignation letter and have taken jobs with better paying overseas air carriers.

Nearly 11 flights of flag carrier Philippine Airlines were canceled last Saturday and about 25 pilots resigned -13 captain and 12 1st officer.

Philippine Airlines (PAL)Management said that they will file appropriate charges soon against pilots who chose not to report for work one week after submitting their resignation letters.

According to reports, Department of Justice warned that if the dispute between PAL Management and pilots who resigned is not resolved, government take-over operations of Philippine Airlines is likely possible.
