Beyond any reasonable doubt, Sharmila Tagore still rocks! She looks much more stylish than Saif & Soha even today.

Soha: TERA KYA HOGA JOHNNY isn't dark

For someone who has worked with Sudhir Mishra in two films now (with Tera Kya Hoga Johny coming after KHOYA KHOYA CHAND), Soha believes that the film maker (who shot to fame decades back with DHARAVI and later IS RAAT KI SUBAH NAHI) has a knack of extracting wonderful performances from relatively new actors.

"I have always heard him saying that he likes working with new faces and bringing to fore an altogether fresh perspective of story telling", says Soha, "In my case also, I truly believe that this holds good. Also, when Neil and Shahana signed the film, they too had just joined the industry. I am sure they too must have cherished the experience of working with Sudhir."

The film tells the story of a boy called Johnny who comes across various people from different walks of life. Other than Soha and Neil, the major protagonists in the film are Kay Kay Menon and Shahana Goswami. In fact going by the promos, TERA KYA HOGA JOHNNY appears to be an interesting drama with a touch of humour to it.

Agrees Soha, "I think you are right here. Every film becomes more entertaining when there are different shades to the narrative. So yes, TERA KYA HOGA JOHNNY doesn't turn dark since there is a dose of humour interspersed into it. The film has stories which show various facets of someone's personality, be it ambition, greed, betrayal or trust. This is not a film where we see a regular hero-heroine drama out there. I guess a tag of 'being different' definitely comes along with this film. But then the subject matter never gets heavy either."

Soha Ali Khan plays deaf girl

Soha Ali Khan would be seen as a deaf girl in Soundtrack, a Hindi film which is an official remake of a Canadian film It's All Gone Pete Tong.

Confirms Soha, "Yes, I am playing a deaf girl in the film. I have just started shooting for the film and trust me; it is a completely different experience for me. I can't imagine myself in a world where I can't hear anything. I converse so much with people in real life and to be put in a situation like this, it has been a challenge for me."

The film is based on the true story of a popular Czech DJ Kristov Masalin who lost his hearing due to excessive noise levels at various venues at which he played. However, Kristov's career did not end with his total loss of hearing and used various methods to keep his music career alive. The Canadian take (It's All Gone Pete Tong) on this true story had Paul Kaye playing the DJ under the direction of Michael Dowse.

She is excited about 2011 though. "There is another film called Chemistry which I have done with Shreyas Talpade. It is my first ever out and out comedy. And then of course there is Soundtrack which should turn out to be a superb human drama. These are the kind of films that excite me. I am anyways not dreaming of pot loads of money. As long as there is something which is experimental yet saleable, I am fine not being a part of hardcore mainstream brigade", she signs off.

Just a Few Pretty Girls

Shilpa Shetty and Soha Ali Khan attended an Olay Event recently as they are the ambassadors. Some pictures are not so much fun to watch. It would be nice if you click the pics to see an enlarged version, if you know what I mean.

Now what's with these women and their faces. With such expressions no Olay of the world can do any wonders on them. Especially, the woman in white is almost about to cry or what.

Soha is permanently living in the 1960's zone...She is the perpetual cast for Action Replayy perhaps. And her hairdo is also quite aunty type for some reason.

She does glow allright, I don't think it's cause of Olay though.
