Olivia Inge Could Not Make It To The VIP Area!

Olivia Inge is one of the leading British models and a descendant of the very wise British PM of his times - William Gladstone. He was the only Prime Minister to have served four times. However, despite her credits Olivia was not allowed to join Kate Moss in the VIP area of a party at W London Hotel.

It is a bit weird why she was snubbed like a nobody and was not allowed to go in the VIP section. However, the world of fashion can be quite bitchy so many people go through the bitter stuff. Olivia did not really expect this sort of treatment. She didn't really express much but it is obvious she is proud of her blood line looking at her statements.

This is what she said after she was snubbed at the event, "I can't believe they have invited me to the event, but won't let me in," she told Mandrake in front of the guarded closure where Kate Moss held court.

She further said, "Some woman just put her hand up and barked 'No' at me"

She chose not to talk about her credentials. "I'm not like that, I doubt they'd know who Gladstone was."

Meryl Streep As Margaret Thatcher

Here we can look at the first look of Meryl Streep as Margaret Thatcher. Meryl Streep is going to play Margaret Thatcher in The Iron Lady, which is the biopic on the life of  Britain's first female Prime Minister - Margaret Thatcher.

She has teamed up once again with the Mamma Mia director Phyllida Lloyd. The movie is not just about Thatcher's powerful political career but also highlights her as a complex yet extra ordinary person.

Meryl Streep is trying really hard to pay attention on every detail possible so that nothing is missed as she plays the character of Margaret Thatcher but hopes she would match her stamina.

Well she definitely does look quite nice in the first look...better than the real Thatcher. Knowing her acting skills - it is not doubtful that she would do justice to the over all role and film. Hope the script and over all movie is made in a good way that keeps the interest intact.

Modestly Imbalanced

Well for most of us who keep an eye on what is happening around, we know that Pakistan and China have had friendly relations for 6 decades now. China has always been more helpful to Pakistan than we could ever be to them, yet they remain consistent because our nation helped them once.

Recently, it seems, that US has noticed how the financial aid given to Pakistan is not used in the best interests of the people and country. They have changed their views about Pakistan and its governance. So, looking at the situation, our government that is known to be beggars rushed to their Chinese loyal friends and invited their Prime Minister to visit Pakistan so that we celebrate our decades of togetherness and friendship. In return, China will go back giving generous amount of investment. We don't know how honestly that will be utilized.

The much talked about arrangement was a mess to be quite honest. Ever since the Chinese head has stepped on the Pakistani soil, the coverage shows how disorganized and silly we look as a nation. His plane landed and before he could come out, some of the Pakistanis already stepped into the plane. Suddenly, the Chinese head came out. When the poor old sweet man took a long walk, the music was not played and stopped on time. While he was meeting the Pakistani delegates, tonnes of Pakistanis were walking with him, making the presentation so chaotic and embarrassing. Many a times, the body guards of the Chinese premier had to push away Pakistani delegates for protection.

And this picture here, when the delegates from both countries were signing the agreements, which will benefit Pakistan immensely, we see how the Chinese premier is standing quietly in one corner while shameless Pakistanis are so crowded on the right side of the screen. They are standing in a crowd rather than a line. There are perhaps 3 parallel lines on Pakistani side, while each Chinese delegate came, signed and moved back in an organized and educated manner. The difference and imbalance is so much there.

We talk about Veena Malik, people running our country are shameless, unorganized and uneducated to the core.

Angelina Feels Uncomfortable on her Visit to Pakistan

I just got an email from a friend...It is an article, which is as follows:

Angelina Jolie Not Happy With Her Visit to Pakistan
By Z.Rehman - Bangkok Post

The philanthropist, soft-hearted world’s number one female actress, Angelina Julie is not at all happy with her visit to Pakistan to see the flood victims. She came here, held the hands of the victims, made donations, stood up with the miseries of the people, denied any photo sessions, met with the aid agencies, but then she talks about the darker side of the things.

She is not happy with the attitude of the authorities and the government, who were more interested in toeing her line, watching her make movements, trying to please her while pushing the flood victims. She was also perturbed at the Prime Minister’s wish that his family wanted to meet her. Prime Minster’s family was especially flown down all the way from Multan to Islamabad and they presented expensive gifts to Jolie and had a sumptuous meal with her.

She said that she was feeling awful at that time to see so much food at the table, suffice for hundreds of flood victims who were fighting like crazy to get a small bag of flour and a small bottle of water. She was ill at ease when she saw the interior of lavish Premier house and some of the government buildings and the chartered planes and other such luxuries, when there was so much misery outside.

In her report to the United Nations, she has recommended UN to ask Pakistani government to first cut down on their expenses and to first cut down their luxuries before asking the aid from the world.
