Another Tsunami Warning For Japan
It is sad that the bad phase is not going away from Japan. Just yesterday, another tsunami warning was issued for eastern Japan after a strong earthquake hit the country.
According to US geological survey, it was a 7.1 magnitude quake. Japan's meteorological agency issued a tsunami warning that a three feet wave might hit Ibaraki.
Narita airport closed down its runway temporarily after the warning.
We have friends living in Japan who have become very different people every since their country has been facing these tough times. It is like their smiles have been snatched away. Although, their government is focused, strong, honest and dedicated but it is so difficult to fight against nature. Our prayers are with everybody in Japan. Hope they remain safe and these times last soon.
How animals are being rescued with so much passion in Japan
Non-non with her owner. Her owner was devastated when she visited her house, which was completely damaged but Non-non came out of the stairs & started meowing.
Cat Island - this is a place where too many cats & old people lived. It's intact but they all need help & food.
This is the woman who refused to go without her dog Yosuke, because officials wouldn't let take her dog. She didn't leave her pet & after 3 days, they were both rescued.
This man was reunited with his dog. It even came out in the papers. You can clearly see how much the owner loves his baby.
The loyal dog who didn't leave his friend in rubble of earthquake & tsunamiI have been reading several stories of how animals have been rescued in Japan. Everything points only in 1 direction – Japanese are not just hard working people, they also care about animals.
However, situation is bad for animals in Sendai. They are preparing a team to go there with food & supplies. There have been rumors that animals will be euthanized in several areas but it’s far from truth. They have confirmed that no animal will be euthanized. Moreover, they are also trying to create temporary shelters at Animal Friends Niigata to house animals besides trying to reunite lost pets with their owners.
Japan is a nation of pet lovers. Most families have a dog or cat, birds, a rabbit, or other pets in their apartments. At first people had no news about Cat Island which but people & cats of the island have been rescued but need help & food. The small island in Ishinomaki City, Miyagi Prefecture, is also home to many cats & old people. A shrine also exists there which is dedicated to cats.
They also encountered a woman who refused to evacuate as the officials wouldn’t allow her to take her dog Yosuke with her. She didn’t leave Yosuke behind & stayed with the dog in her shaking house for 3 days & the good news is that both of them are okay.
Many people have seen the video of a dog wouldn’t leave his injured friend in the rubbles. Both of them are safe now.
A woman went back to her house to search for her cat. The house was entirely destroyed but thank God, her cat Non-non survived as she was upstairs. The cat was a bit shaken but it’s good to know that Non-non too is safe now with her owner. Another man was reunited with his injured pet dog & that pic can make you cry. I hardly see that kind of compassion for humans here & these people even love their animals like mad.
I’m really proud of Japan & it’s people. I think Japan has set an example for the rest of the world which keeps blabbing when hit by disasters. Japanese are not just fighting with this natural disaster with honor, but they have proud they are one of the most compassionate nations. We sign zillions of petitions in which healthy animals in pretty okay places are being killed & tortured for no reason. I wonder what would they do if some natural calamity hits them. I don’t think such inhuman people can learn anything from Japan but I can’t help ignoring their evil deeds at the moment.
I have a Japanese friend & she has been telling us what’s going on in Japan every day. Places have been completely wiped off. You can’t call any place safe but these people haven’t given up & they are fighting.
Please continue to pray for them. Disasters could happen to anyone.
Sandra Bullock gave $ 1 million to help Japan
Sandra Bullock donated $ 1 million to the Red Cross to support the relief effort in Japan.
The organization said in a statement: 'The American Red Cross is extremely grateful for this generous support from Sandra Bullock and her family. This contribution is vitally important as the Red Cross works to provide critical assistance and essential relief items in this time of urgent need for so many people in Japan.'
Sandra Bullock is a wonderful human being & this is not the 1st time she has lent a helping hand.
I read in one of the reports that there had been no looting in Japan. Calamities hit many countries but I think Japan is one great nation. They just want to help those who are in trouble & that includes not just humans but also animals. What could be more commendable than this!
However, I’m shocked at certain retards who believe that every tragedy is well deserved. How the fuck do they know who deserves it or not? Japan is located at a place where such things can happen. Floods & earthquakes even hit Pakistan – I wonder what kind of opinion they hold about their own country where girls are being kidnapped whenever something of the sort happens & looting is a common thing during any calamity. If it happens to you, it’s big deal but if it happens to someone else, it’s a well deserved tragedy & it’s a wrath of God. I think this is nothing but low mentality.
We have often heard that bad things happen to good people & there is no plausible explanation. Japanese are really good people. They always help others when they need any kind of support. We must continue to pray for them.
Clint Eastwood's "Hereafter" Withdrawn From Japanese Cinemas

Clint Eastwood's recent movie that he wrote and directed, "Hereafter" has been withdrawn from the Japanese cinemas after the country witnessed a deadly earthquake followed by tsunami.
The movie's plot shows characters who are stuck in the Asian tsunami and are battling for their survival. It contains scenes that are very similar to the real life disaster that took place in Japan.
In these devastating times, it was best to remove this movie from the cinemas in Japan because it would hurt their sentiments especially people who have lost their loved ones and their homes in this incident recently.
This is not the first time that a movie is pulled off from cinemas due to calamities or disasters. After 9-11, at least 45 films had to be edited, postponed or cancelled. Most of the movies had to delete the images of World Trade Center. "Spider Man" was one such movie that had to cut of an entire scene from the trailers and movie where they showed the Twin Towers. Similarly, Arnold's "Collateral Damage" and Gwyneth Paltrow's "View From The Top" had to be delayed because of similar issues.
Prayers For Japan As 3rd Explosion Takes Place At Fukushima Nuclear Plant
It is a very tough time for Japan as there is news of a third explosion at Fukushima nuclear plant. Radiation levels are rising terribly fast and authorities are worried it would cause even bigger problems in the form of radiation sickness. They are working on preventing the meltdown in the nuclear reactors by filling the chambers with seawater to cool them down.
It is not yet clear as to the over all life loss in Tokyo caused by the earthquake and tsunami. It is quite possible that at least 10,000 people were killed though in these last few days.
Japan's Prime Minister Naoto Kan said it is the worst crisis after the World War 2. The financial costs of recovering would be at least £111 billion. It could be the world's third biggest economy that is going to enter recession. Already the shares of Japanese companies have dipped down.
US Geological Survey have upgraded the earthquake to magnitude 9.0 from 8.9 and this means it is the world's fourth most powerful and dangerous earthquake since the 1900.
Many people are comparing the nuclear blasts in Japan with those of 1986 Chernobyl incident in Ukraine but nuclear experts are clear that these are not like Chernobyl, which never had any containment structure. It blew up everything. However, the Japanese government is still worried about its people and have warned everybody in the 20 km evacuation zone to stay indoors till things are sorted out.
Well, we can only pray for our Japanese friends and hope this gets over soon. There are a few donation services also if anybody wants to contribute in these tough times. We have mentioned of one but there are many other ways. But most importantly remember them in your prayers. It costs nothing. I have no doubt that they will recover soon because Japanese are the most hardworking and dedicated people ever.

300 bodies found so far
Well 300 dead bodies have been found in the north eastern coastal city of Sendai & as much as we hate to say but the number will go up. When I posted my write-up on tsunami today in the afternoon, only 10 or 15 people were dead. Although I knew that more people would be dead but 300 is definitely a huge loss.
More than 300 houses were washed away in Ofunato city alone. They are also searching for ship carrying 80 workers.
Japanese are very hard working & dedicated people. Even in this darkest hour, they have given it their best shot. We are really proud of them.
However, it’s heart wrenching to watch videos on it. Beyond any doubt, this has been a tragic day for all of us. This tsunami has been the worst of its kind.
We must pray for Japan
We all know about this massive tsunami that has done so much damage in Japan & I don’t think I need to provide details about it.
Tsunami warnings have been issued for 20 countries which include New Zealand, Philippines, Indonesia, Papua New Guniea, & Hawaii. We need to pray for Japan & other countries. This could happen to any country.
According to Kyodo news, 10 people have been killed & numerous others are injured. But some other dailies have reported that around 15 people are dead.
Television images have shown waves of more than 12 feet roaring inland. The Reuters news service said tsunami waves were high enough to potentially roll over some Pacific islands.
The largest recorded quake took place in Chile on May 22, 1960, with a magnitude of 9.5, the USGS said. And Thursday's quake had been the fifth-strongest in the world since 1900, the agency said.

When the town was hit by the tsunami for the first time, they all came out to help and donated as much money and stuff as they can. Later on, they go around hurting people with their words and deeds as usual.
