Now that is one interesting poster that I have seen in many days, for Tanu Weds Manu. Madhavan, Kangana Ranaut play the lead roles while actors such as Jimmy Shergill and a few others.
Jimmy Shergill is another actor who has been struggling for too long. He has got talent & the looks, but nepotism rules the industry. In spite of having the potential, this guy mostly works in B-grade movies or he gets very insignificant roles in good movies. But for the past 15 years or so, he has been in the industry.
More than the hero, you notice Jimmy Shergill in Maachis. It was a movie based on terrorism. Even in A Wednesday, his role as a Muslim policeman was crucial. But it’s saddening to see that he’s now working in horror movies like Flat. However, his role in Mohabbatein had been really appreciated. I haven’t seen Haasil but they say it has been one of his best performances. He also played the role SRK’s younger brother in My name is Khan. And we all loved him in Meray Yaar ki Shaadi hai. I think Bipasha, Tulip Joshi & Jimmy looked better than the hero.
Jimmy is 40 year old (3rd December 1970). He has a son named Vir. He has also acted in several Punjabi movies & these movies have done very well. Mel Karade Rabba was his last Punjabi film & it was blockbuster as it broke all the records.
