Cthulhu's Reign
Picked this book up Friday and so far it has been an intereting read. It takes a novel approach to Lovecraft's Cthulhu mythos. Where in Lovecraft, and most if those seeking to expand on the mythos, keep the great Cthulhu firmly buried beneath the sea, this book looks at what happens when the Elder One finally awakens. The stories all vary but remain fairly consistant. It would take little work to imagine that all the stories take place in a persistant universe. I'm a little over halfway through and haven;t found a story I totally dislike yet
Altitude to be rated R see the trailer
In a win for those tired of PG crappy horror, Altitude has received a "R" rating. Still could be a crappy movie but it looks good and smells of Lovecratft. Just take a look at the poster and the trailer. It is hinted at in the trailer that it could all be the effects of altitude causing hallucinations, but I'm hoping they don't go that way. Start with the jokes, Squids in Space or Chthulu on a Plane. Thanks to Rebecca Herzberger for origianlly posting the video on her Facebook or I might not have heard about it
