Abhishek bags Sanjay Leela Bhansali's next

Abhishek Bachchan will be starring in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next film.

Confirming the news, SLB said, “I’ve always felt Abhishek has immense untapped potential. He is an actor capable of surrendering to the camera wholeheartedly. I feel his potential is simmering under the surface. I am going to try to harness it.”

“The film is not a historical or a period film. It is today’s subject about contemporary situations and the dilemma that a young individual faces in trying to jump across the hurdles that are placed in his life by the wheels of the government,” he added.

This is the first instance when Sanjay Leela Bhansali will be teaming up with Junior Bachchan, as he has already worked with Amitabh Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan previously.

Shahrukh is Making Things Right

Shahrukh Khan seems to be on the some movement where he is making things right. He has been apologizing to people and telling them he was sorry for the rough time they shared but that he wants to leave behind that past and be good friends. 

Finally after more than a year of the infamous scuffle between Shahrukh and Sunil Gavaskar over the latter's comments on the Kolkata Knight Rider's coach John Buchanan, Shahrukh apologized to Sunil Gavsakar. At the recently held Sahara India Sports Awards 2010 hosted by Shah Rukh Khan, when Gavaskar came on the stage to receive an award, SRK took a moment to reminisce over the dirty war of words and politely apologized saying that whatever was reported was misconstrued by media and he respects him and loves him for the several honour he has brought to the country. Gavaskar smiled and accepted his apology brushing it off as an over blown media gimmick. Notably this was not the first apology SRK made in the last few weeks- there were others like Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Leela Bhansali who SRK went back to mending the sour relationships. 

Perhaps he has gone through some shit or has become a bit too mature that he doesn't want to live with petty issues. I remember that the time for SRK's downfall has sort of begun and that he will lose his closest friends. But he will get his revival back after a few years. It this really the beginning of that?

Guzaarish Photo Stills

Well, I feel guilty for not contributing much today. I am going to do something. Too bad it had to be on Guzaarish, a movie that does not attract me much. However, these are photo stills of the movie. And the sets show the detailing done, a trait of Sanjay Leela Bhansali. I fail to understand why he isn't considered a perfectionist instead of Aamir, because his detailed work is always pretty good.

I would not like to live in such an old place though.

A boring morning

This is a boring Thursday morning. I haven't slept well in weeks now. And today is a long day at work. I'm waiting for one of my weird clients to come and she is getting late.

As I go through some bollywood tweets, I will write whatever seems interesting.

Just read that was a rumour till a few days back that Dev Anand is dead. But the oldie is alive and finalizing his latest production. Another interesting thing is that Saif Ali Khan will be working with the same guy who casted him in Omkara and gave Saif his biggest hits and amazing recognition as a real actor.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali is bring Aishwarya Rai, Kareena Kapoor and Priety Zinta in his new movie "Heera Mandi". The movie is of course based on lahore's red light area. Earlier he thought of bringing Madhuri, Rani and Sonam Kapoor for this venture. But people say the final selection is much better and sizzling.

Karan Johar turned 38 and he planned to stay away from the crowds and clutter and decided to be on his own in Manhattan. Like we say, everybody needs some personal space.

Ranbir Kapoor is working on publicity of his new film Rajneeti. He looks handsome as he portrays Rahul Gandhi. He was travelling in train to promote the movie.

The client has not come in as yet. No respect for time man. This pisses me off.
